Surprise Surprise. I am late getting my up post. I apologize. Last night turned out to be more eventful than I had expected. Due to the bad winter conditions my friends car slid off the road on our way to church last night. We and the car were both fine but it took us awhile to wait for help. And when I got home I decided I better just sleep than put up the post.
For this weeks challenge I encourage us to add a superfood to our meals. Bonus points of it is a seasonal superfood. The definition of a superfood is unclear (because it is not actually a word and is used more so as a marketing tool) but if you search it you will get a lot of different options. I have been receiving the Rachael Ray magazine and she references the word superfood a lot. Which has intrigued me to learn more about the term and try to incorporate it into my diet.
The goal is to eat at least one of the superfoods at least once during the week.
